warning! wordy post ahead.
Work at L&W ended on the 14th and here i am, back to school struggling with the tutorials and projects that will be up next in weeks to come.
Working at L&W has been really a lot different from the past. Though working there wasn't really pleasant but it was good experience.
13th Oct.
Dinner with Szymon (L&W's Chief Interior Designer, Canadian) on the second last day was really nice. We went to this place called 成利园饭庄 along Tanjong Pagar Road. It's a Northern China Restaurant. Food is pretty good. It cost$35 for the two of us. It was really nice having dinner with Szymon. Had great conversations! anw, he speaks mandarin. ;)
14th Oct.
i did little cards for my colleagues and gave them before i leave the office. had dinner with Evon at Imperial Treasure at Marina Square. Impromptu decision to have dinner and Muji shopping together. headed home and grabbed my stuff for LSSLM Volunteers Chalet.
15th Oct.
As i had pre-arrangements to meet up with G and Yx, i've decided to offer my help to take care of Xian Xian while all other volunteers are out. so i brought XX to the shopping trip with G and Yx at Orchard/Somerset. i pretty much expected myself not to bring kids out on shopping trips when they are too old for Strollers yet too young to have hours and hours of shopping. Bought a Spiderman cap for XX from H&M.
headed back to the chalet and with an empty stomach, i was made to drink 1.5 plastic cup of neat Martel. Wasn't drunk but i was really dehydrated the next day morning which i supposed to go for New Balance 10km run. really regretted having those drinks and i gave the run a miss. sis was having stomachache as well so we gave it a miss. wasted our money as the tee and goodie bag will be claimed after the run. now we can't get hold of it already.
16th Oct.
went to USS with Maggie's family (aka, my god parents and sister) and Keegan's family (Maggie's cousin). had great fun even though the adults was keen on having thrill rides with me. Took The Mummy once with Daddy, Human once with K's Daddy and Cyclone once with K's Daddy. was really so exhausted after that.
20th Oct.
Meet up with S for a short while and headed to Orchard to meet up with CO excos. dinner at Marche was really good. it was their first time trying out Marche and their feedback was really good. as usual, we hung out at Tampines Starbucks before heading home.
22nd Oct.
went to USS again to use up my sis's ticket. took The Mummy thrice, Human and Cyclone twice. was too immune to the ride and couldn't feel much after that. watched Water World twice as well. was soooooo exhausted so we headed to vivo Starbucks for a drink before heading to meet G and MS. caught Killer's Elite before heading home.
Tuition classes officially ended yesterday. have been spending quality time at home with mum and KH. Managed to update my iTunes songs and i'm posting this while waiting for the completion of the Sync. if not i wouldn't even post already.
