Right, and it's already the third day of 2009 and here I am blogging. That extract up there was just a short para that I came across while reading the book. Have you ever said these to someone? I once did. I said to someone who came across my life and changed me entirely. Yes, we are still friends and whenever we see each other, we do smile to each other. Things do change and everything's different from the past. Oh well. let's just be hopeful for a much better year ahead of us.
Thanks to all that have wished me happy birthday yesterday. Really grateful for all the wishes whether is it through MSN, blogs, SMSes or calls. Yup Yup, Kenrick was the first to msg me. Thanks alot! hehes.
Went to work as usual yesterday morning. Everything was fine. Thanks for the birthday celebration in the office yesterday. Nice cake though. :)
Supposed to have dinner at Swensen's in Whitesands. However, it was too crowded. Took the train to Tampines Mall for Swensen's instead. Had Baked Rice as per usual. If you're close to me and have known me for years, I've been celebrating my birthday at Swensen's for the past few years with my family as well.
Bought Ice-cream cake from Swensen's and took bus home. Cut the cake at around 10 plus. Brother came up with this stupid idea of standing 1m away from the candles and had to blow the candles. Had lots of fun with the candles and dry-ice. hehes. :)
Went to the National Library in Bugis today with Mom and Fel. Books over there were very useful but then again, all was NOT IN LOAN. So what ever that you need, you'll need to go to the photocopy room to get a copy of them. so yeah.

Like what Michele told me to do so, i went to the NLB to look through books about Psychology and I did it today. Pretty much of what i wanted to do except for the part about studying Biology again. I was at the Reference section and the books over there was rather profound. Books had many many words up there. Yet, it's not making me give up nor have second thoughts. Yes, I didn't do well for Biology for the past 2 yrs but i'm still interested in Biology.
So I've told this to myself: " If you want it bad enough, you'll get it through." Imagine yourself studying Biolody as part of what you want to do for the next 1-2 yrs before actually doing Psychology. Thereafter spending another 5-6 years doing Psychology and further studying it in other countries before getting a PhD. And then, be a psychiatrist/counsellor/educator/HRM etc. for the rest for your life.
So yah, i'm pretty sure of what i want to do now. Yes, it's still Psychology. Please let me get in man! oh well. Let fate decide then.
Right, it's already 12.18am already. i shall sign off for today already. will be swimming and doing some stuffs for tomorrow. bye peeps! Sorry for the wordy again!
